Earlier today, we talked about Gainey Ranch. And since we're out and about on this sunny Sunday afternoon, we had the opportunity to show a property in McCormick Ranch. We thought, "Why not take some photos and share them on our blog?" So, we took them. Nothing super special (we were late) but something to post in this blog. Most importantly, we're here to share some info about McCormick Ranch.

A Brief History

McCormick Ranch was once a working ranch owned by Anne and Fowler McCormick, members of the McCormick family known for their agricultural machinery company. In the 1970s, the 4,200-acre ranch was transformed into a master-planned community. It was designed to offer its residents a high quality of life. Like several large master-planned communities in Scottsdale, the developer aimed to preserve the area's natural beauty. And they did. It is a gorgeous area.

McCormick Ranch features several artificial lakes. Firstly, they provide views that WOW. Even better? They offer spots for fishing and non-motorized boating. The park includes a 5/12th scale train ride, a vintage carousel, model railroad exhibits, and several playgrounds. It also hosts numerous events throughout the year. The truly is always something fun going on here.
